Greencycle Back-to-School Swap Returns (finally!)

After long months of pandemic isolation, Town Square emerged to offer its popular Greencycle Swap on a Greenpoint Open Street.  Droves of neighbors came out in September to donate clothes, shoes and books – and go treasure hunting.  Brooklyn Scouts Boys Troop 26 and Girls Troop 1G rolled up their sleeves to help a wonderful community event.  All remaining donations were given to NYPD Greenpoint 94th Precinct’s kids lending library and St. Mary’s in East Williamsburg.   So…simply…satisfying…

Susan is a founding member and current Executive Director of Town Square. She developed and managed Town Square’s many community programs to date, including the Go Green BK Hub, Go Green BK Festival, Greencycle Swaps, Schoolfest, SummerStarz free outdoor movies, Greenpoint Children's Halloween Parade & Party, Santa Brunch, and Spring Egg Hunt. Susan worked at many leading Wall Street institutions, and holds an MBA from the Wharton School. Susan lives in Greenpoint, Brooklyn with her family, who inspires her every day.
