Join Prospect Park Alliance for nature education programs on Thursdays and Fridays at the Prospect Park Audubon Center, the first urban Audubon Center in the nation.
Nature Around Us, 10 – 1 pm: Enjoy different seasonal discovery stations and nature themed activities that will introduce you to the plants, insects and animals that call the park home.
Animal Encounter, 11 – 12 pm: Join Alliance Naturalists in learning more about the animals in the Audubon Center’s collection. This program starts promptly at 11 am.
Nature on the Go!, 12 – 1 pm: An Alliance Naturalist will lead children and families to areas near the Audubon Center, where you can learn about the nature that is all around us. This program leaves promptly at 11 am.
J’ouvert Genesis Immersive Experience, 12 – 4 pm

Join Prospect Park Alliance, JouvayFest Collective and City Lore for the J’ouvert Genesis Immersive Experience — an exploration of the rich and colorful history of J’ouvert in Trinidad & Tobago and its important role in Brooklyn today. The exhibit includes lifesize J’ouvert costumes, large format photography, virtual reality and more.
Carousel Rides, 12 – 5 pm
Children’s Corner, $3 per ride; $13 for a book of 5 tickets; Unlimited with Prospect Park Alliance Family Supporter membership or higher.
