Pamela Peeters

Pamela Peeters is an environmental economist, specialized in sustainable development since 25 years. An author, filmmaker and Certified National Geographic Educator, she was on the marketing team of the US Partnerships for the UNESCO Decade of Education for Sustainable Development and developed the “Sustainable Planet” film festival at that time. She is also a former Research Fellow in Economics from Columbia University and a Fellow of the Explorers Club. She launched the annual “Sustainability Week NYC" in 2014 with the aim of celebrating leaders in the field of planetary restoration and preservation and inspiring audiences to become involved.
