Compost Distribution (Montague Open Streets)

Join DSNY and Council Member Lincoln Restler for a Compost Distribution event on Saturday, September 10th at Montague Open Streets in Brooklyn Heights!

Stop by our information table to learn how DSNY is turning your food scraps and yard waste into finished compost and to find out how to participate in the Curbside Composting program. Residents can take home up to three (3) 40-lb bags of free, high-quality New York City compost made from NYC food scraps and yard waste.

Supplies are limited and registration is required. Please note that Montague St will be closed to car traffic during the event so please be prepared to transport bags without assistance.
