DESCRIPTION:Carroll Gardens staff is excited to host artist Sophia Haas in the Wyckoff Bond Community Garden for a workshop for kids! Learn how to pound prints (tatakizome) using fresh flowers and leaves. Participants will explore pounding techniques using rocks\, hammers and mallets to make prints onto paper and fabric. \nFor Ages 6-12. Grown-up must be present for workshop to assist with flower pounding. \nRegistration is required to attend. \n*This program is weather permitting. Registrants will be notified if there are any changes.

Members of the garden will be there from 12-4PM so folks can visit the garden\, grab a free children’s book courtesy of Brooklyn Book Bodega\, learn about composting and street tree care and find out how to become a member. \nFrom 1-2PM there will be Storytime with Miss Sarah.
