DESCRIPTION:In conjunction with New York Climate Week 2025\, INDELIBLE DANCE & NOoSPHERE Arts Present: WASTE YOUR TIME – an evocative\, immersive performance exploring the ways we waste time\, and the even deeper ways we waste our planet’s precious resources. \nSet against the raw industrial beauty of the Newtown Creek Nature Walk\, this site-specific dance experience invites audiences to slow down\, be present\, and reflect on consumption\, inaction\, and the cycles we find ourselves stuck in. With bold choreography\, humor\, and striking visuals\, WASTE YOUR TIME transforms an overlooked urban space into a powerful stage for both environmental and emotional reckoning — calling us to awareness\, intention\, and care. \nChoreography: Robin Cantrell\, Allegra Herman\, JoVonna Parks\, Gabrielle Lamb/PigeonWing Dance\, Tiffany Mangulabnan \nDancers: Sarah Housepian\, Amy Saunder\, Allegra Herman\, JoVonna Parks\, Tiffany Mangulabnan\, Arimee Gambill\, Casey Howes\, Mira Cook \nMusic: Greg Boro\, Don McLean\, Francoise Hardy\, MÏRÄNDÄ\, Molly Lewis\, Matt Kilmer\, Elena Kats-Chernin\, Mira Cook \nCostumes: donated by Gaynor Minden \nLocation: Newtown Creek Nature Walk (Entrance located here) \nDates: September 27 & 28 Showtimes: 3:00 PM & 5:30 PM (both days) \nWalking shoes encouraged – this is a performance that moves \nLet your time be “wasted” in the best possible way: by being fully present for something unforgettable. \nThe moving performance will begin at the entrance to the Newtown Creek Nature Walk\, located at the intersection of Provost St. & Paidge Ave. in Greenpoint Brooklyn Exit the Greenpoint G stop at India st. and walk from there. \nThe show will conclude on the rooftop of NOoSPHERE ARTS.
