DESCRIPTION:The Community Canoeing Public Paddle series is back in Oct for our LAST paddle of the 2025 season! \nAt these FREE\, informal paddles\, NBCB welcomes walk-up participants (NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED) to join trained NBCB canoe guides for 20-30 minute trips on Newtown creek in our 29 foot voyageur canoes. \nWe’ll paddle out toward the East River and take in views of Manhattan before paddling deeper into the creek\, a very rewarding experience! You can DROP BY ANYTIME between 12pm and 3:30pm (last trip leaves at 3:30pm). This is a family friendly event\, kids are welcome. \nDon’t miss out!

DESCRIPTION:The first North Brooklyn Community Boathouse Public Paddle is May 27\, 2022! \nAnd we hope to see you there! \nThe Public Paddles let NBCB do what we do best: fulfill our mission to enable access to the waterways of New York City for our local community. \nWe’ll have canoe tours with views of Manhattan\, tasty beverages and snacks on hand\, and friends and neighbors gathering together on the shores of Newtown Creek. \nThe event runs 12-4.
