Doubts have already been raised about this plan by government. Let’s talk about it. \n  \nOur many perspectives\, experiences and expertise united together will be a formidable force in saving the inlet\, Bushwick Inlet Park and our neighborhood. \n  \nJoin us at the January 8th Planning Meeting to keep the momentum going.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a day of events promoting the care of the things we own. \nHold on to those electronics and textiles! We will have an e-waste and textile collection event in partnership with the Department of Sanitation\, powered by Lower East Side Ecology Center.  Let’s recycle the things we own responsibly! \nE-waste collected at these events include: household and office electronics (computers\, laptops\, keyboards\, printers)\, smaller entertainment electronics (video game consoles\, cell phones\, MP3 players)\, and TVs\, VCRs\, DVDs\, DVRs. \n*Unacceptable items: commercial e-waste\, household appliances\, air conditioners\, batteries\, lightbulbs. \nTextiles collected at these events include: clothing\, shoes\, accessories\, linens\, and all fabric items that are clean\, dry\, and unsoiled. Textile dropoffs must be in bags! \nThe event will take place outside of the library on Norman Ave.
