DESCRIPTION:Enhance your garden by learning to build a wooden raised bed with a seating ledge! This intermediate course is for gardeners and DIY enthusiasts with basic woodworking skills. In this course\, you will build a sturdy raised bed with a ledge for seating or tools; choose and cut materials for strength and comfort; assemble the bed\, reinforce the frame and secure the ledge and learn weatherproofing techniques to extend the bed’s lifespan. By the end\, you will be able to create a functional and durable raised bed. Some experience with woodworking tools and basic gardening knowledge is required. \nNYC Parks GreenThumb hosts this event.
