SUMMARY:Sinterklaas – Saint Nicholas Day Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, December 2nd for our 22nd Annual Sinterklaas- St. Nicholas Day Celebration. We hope you can join us for an outdoor day full of craft activities\, a tree lighting\, and a special visit from St. Nick. \n\n\n\nChildren will enjoy a visit from St. Nicholas as he arrives on horseback around 2:30PM. St. Nicholas will tell the traditional tale of The Bakers Dozen and children are invited to sign the Red Book. Sip hot cider\, try your hand at colonial games\, create a holiday pomander\, decorate a Dutch clog for Sinterklaas\, and dress the tree for the tree lighting that will close the day as the sun goes down. \n2PM Grounds open with crafts and activities \n2:30PM Learn the traditional Sinterklaas Song \n2:45PM St. Nicholas arrives on horseback\, meet the horses \n3PM Story time with St. Nicholas: The Bakers Dozen \n3:15-4PM Sign the Red Book and take photos with St. Nick \n4:00PM Tree decorating and lighting \nWhat to expect on your visit: \n\nWe recommend dressing warmly as all activities will take place outdoors in the park.\nPre-registration is strongly encouraged. Walk-ups will be admitted on a first-come-first-served basis\, capacity permitting.\n\n\nMask wearing is encouraged but not required.\nWe recommend using the restroom before your arrival. There is two port-o-sans on the property.\n\nThis event is free to attend with ticket reservations. Select craft activities\, refreshments\, and holiday items will be available on-site for purchase.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for Juneteenth themed activities for this month’s Farmhouse Family Day! \n~ Farmhouse Family Day is free and open to all ages\, ideal for children ages 4-10. \n~ Farm activities (i.e. harvesting\, weeding) are limited\, first-come first-served basis beginning at 12PM. Make sure to wear close-toed shoes and prepare to get dirty. \nOther things to do while you are here: \n~ Stop by our first Farm stand of the year (from 11AM-3PM) featuring Wyckoff Farm fresh veggies and herbs as well as neighborhood vendors. \n~ Drop off food scraps for compost.
