DESCRIPTION:Juneteenth has revered roots as a day of freedom for enslaved African-Americans in Texas and throughout the country. Join us on the Wyckoff Farm for a for a community celebration featuring storytelling and crafts for all ages. \nMake sure to stop by our first Farmstand of the season\, with fresh fruits and vegetables from Wyckoff and other local farms! Weekly on Saturday from 11AM-3PM until October 26th. \nPrepare for your Visit: \n\nFarmhouse Family Day is from 11AM-3PM\, with the Juneteenth storytelling & craft activity beginning at 1PM. This is an all ages event\, ideal for kids ages 4-10.\nTours of the Wyckoff House will be available starting at 12PM.\nDress appropriately for the weather – Family Day takes place indoors and outdoors – and wear closed toed shoes if you plan on participating in any farm activities.\nDon’t miss our weekly Farmstand\, June 15th-October 26th on Saturdays from 11AM-3PM.

DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, December 2nd for our 22nd Annual Sinterklaas- St. Nicholas Day Celebration. We hope you can join us for an outdoor day full of craft activities\, a tree lighting\, and a special visit from St. Nick. \n\n\n\nChildren will enjoy a visit from St. Nicholas as he arrives on horseback around 2:30PM. St. Nicholas will tell the traditional tale of The Bakers Dozen and children are invited to sign the Red Book. Sip hot cider\, try your hand at colonial games\, create a holiday pomander\, decorate a Dutch clog for Sinterklaas\, and dress the tree for the tree lighting that will close the day as the sun goes down. \n2PM Grounds open with crafts and activities \n2:30PM Learn the traditional Sinterklaas Song \n2:45PM St. Nicholas arrives on horseback\, meet the horses \n3PM Story time with St. Nicholas: The Bakers Dozen \n3:15-4PM Sign the Red Book and take photos with St. Nick \n4:00PM Tree decorating and lighting \nWhat to expect on your visit: \n\nWe recommend dressing warmly as all activities will take place outdoors in the park.\nPre-registration is strongly encouraged. Walk-ups will be admitted on a first-come-first-served basis\, capacity permitting.\n\n\nMask wearing is encouraged but not required.\nWe recommend using the restroom before your arrival. There is two port-o-sans on the property.\n\nThis event is free to attend with ticket reservations. Select craft activities\, refreshments\, and holiday items will be available on-site for purchase.
