The garden includes fruit trees\, community herb beds\, a bee colony\, composting initiatives\, and shared growing spaces designed to bring people together through collective care and education. \nFor information about group volunteering\, please contact the GreenThumb Volunteer Program\, at gt.volunteer@parks.nyc.gov. \nThis event is part of the Ninth Annual Open Garden NYC\, which will take place on Saturday\, June 6 and Sunday\, June 7\, 2026 (rain or shine) at community gardens across the city!
