DESCRIPTION:Franchise and Concession Review Committee and the Department of Parks and Recreation (“Parks”) is holding a public hearing on Transmitter Park on 8/10/26\, at 255 Greenwich St. 8th Floor – 2:30PM \n. \nThe proposal will demolish the park’s existing abandoned building and construct a new restaurant with public restrooms\, followed by a seasonal marina with up to 40 boat slips\, kayak and paddleboard rentals\, and free programming.⁠ Community members will have the opportunity to share feedback at the public hearing in person or submitted in writing in advance to: fcrc@mocs.nyc.gov or the QR code below;  all written testimony can be submitted until close of the public hearing and will be distributed to the FCRC after the hearing. \n⁠ \n
