SUMMARY:Day of Service at Gowanus Houses
DESCRIPTION:Join Gowanus Canal Conservancy this Monday\, November 11 from 10AM-1PM to steward street trees. Volunteers will focus on litter removal\, weeding\, bulb planting\, and adding compost and mulch to tree beds on the Baltic Street Green Median. Additionally\, attendees have the opportunity to learn about the Gowanus BID Formation Effort. Youth ages 10 and up are encouraged to sign up. \nDate/Time: November 11th\, 10 AM- 1 PM\nMeeting location: 423 Baltic Street\, Brooklyn\, NY 11217 \nFor all events\, bring your own water and water bottle as there is limited drinking water on site. Wear clothes\, layers that are appropriate for the weather\, and closed toed shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. GCC will provide all tools and materials.
