This program leaves promptly at 11 am. \nJ’ouvert Genesis Immersive Experience\, 12 – 4 pm\nLefferts Historic House\, Free \nJoin Prospect Park Alliance\, JouvayFest Collective and City Lore for the J’ouvert Genesis Immersive Experience — an exploration of the rich and colorful history of J’ouvert in Trinidad & Tobago and its important role in Brooklyn today. The exhibit includes lifesize J’ouvert costumes\, large format photography\, virtual reality and more. \nCarousel Rides\, 12 – 5 pm \nChildren’s Corner\, $3 per ride; $13 for a book of 5 tickets; Unlimited with Prospect Park Alliance Family Supporter membership or higher. \nCelebrate Yom Kippur with the park’s beloved Carousel. \nJoin the Alliance at the Family Supporter level and your family (up to 4 people) will receive unlimited rides on the Carousel for a full year!

You will embark on a journey to learn about tea and have an engaging experience connecting with the diverse cultures and communities around us. \nRSVP for Summer Tea in Prospect Park Today! \n \n10-11 am Nature Walk: \nLed by the Prospect Park Alliance staff\, we will start from the Boathouse to have a walk through the trails around and learn about the nature surroundings of the park. \nMorning Yoga:  \nEnjoy yoga led by an experienced practitioner \n11-12 pm Morning Tea Ceremony \nParticipants can choose to sit down with tea for a guided group tea meditation with some gentle movement to be more in tune with their own body and mind. \n12-1 pm Lunch and Tea \nBring your own lunch or pre-order a lunch. \nPlease complete this form if you would like to receive information about ordering a special curated lunch to have with your tea. \n1-4 pm Community Tea Circles \nA curated experience for the participants to join the extensive tea circles created by the various communities from different cultures. Art and music will be incorporated into the whole experience. \nFamily Friendly activities : Ikebana with artist Kristina Bajunaishvili\, Poetry Composing Tree\, and Kids Tea Party. \nTea Tasting Table by New York Tea Society \nIce Teas from Local Community Gardens \nThe Nature Tea program began when a group of tea lovers gathered in Prospect Park\, Brooklyn in 2019 with the intention to share their appreciation of nature\, tea\, and connections with others. This program has continued to manifest the beauty and light of tea by building community solidarity among tea lovers\, artists\, musicians\, and nature goers through seasonal gatherings in nature. \nSummer Tea 2023 in Prospect Park is part of the Nature Tea series of Tea Arts & Culture.
