He is constantly evolving the role of temples in modern society and providing his temple for yoga / meditation practice monthly to the community. On the Antoin Temple premises\, there’s a designated cultural property\, Taho tower\, which is the oldest shrine dedicated to Buddhism preserved as its original form in Tohoku Region. \nAbout Tea Master Naomi Shirao \nNaomi Shirao\, tea master and representative of four generations of a non-pesticide organic farm in Miyazaky\, Kyushu\, Japan. Their cultivation philosophy begins with the roots–the soil. They proudly claim the soil in their field is so pure\, it’s edible. Their precious tea was even served to the heads of the G7 Hiroshima summit in 2023. Their tea is currently available for purchase at HACO in Williamsburg.

Join suitcase theater artist and rabble rouser Eli Nixon to explore what and how to celebrate so as to survive for 450 million years (or at least tomorrow!). This is an all-ages invitation to sample this DIY holiday in homage to horseshoe crabs (“Bloodtide”) that has been hatching out across the continent and in particular\, along the east coast where horseshoe crabs abound\, or used to… Audiences will be invited into low-stakes opportunities for participation including naturedrag\, comics drawing\, fabric handling and singing crabaoke (power ballads with altered lyrics about crabs!).\n\n  \n\nWednesday\, June 18\, 2025\, 7 PM:  National Sawdust Presents: “Back to Nature” featuring Isaiah Barr\, David Frazier Jr. and William Parker plus Special Guests. Composed and officiated by celebrated Creative Director Troy Anthony\, THE REVIVAL is meant to lift people out of their sorrow using nonreligious songs and rituals that center collective liberation. Classes are crafted to incorporate art\, sensory play\, technology\, and engineering into early math and science exploration\, following the Reggio Emilia approach. \nAri\, The Sing-along Guy \nCome sing\, dance\, clap\, stomp\, jump and rock out with Ari The Sing-along Guy! Ari\, his guitar and his trusty yellow sweatband will lead you in songs you know\, and some you don’t\, but all of them are fun\, interactive\, and they really rock!
