DESCRIPTION:Join Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy for an upcycled art workshop! \nEducators will guide you through collaging techniques that involve using upcycled materials and 3-dimensional layering. With the inspiration of the East River’s unique estuary habitat\, you will create a beautiful fish and estuary collage. As you craft\, learn a little bit about the health of our local waterways and the types of marine species that call the East River their home. \nThis activity is best suited for adults and children ages 8 and up. DESCRIPTION:Learn the basics of catch-and-release line fishing from the Brooklyn Bridge Conservancy’s own expert anglers. During this clinic\, participants of all ages will learn how to tie knots\, bait a hook\, drop a line\, and (with some luck) reel up a fish! Contribute to the Conservancy’s community science efforts as we collect data from our catch to assess the health of the East River. \nNo experience or supplies needed – equipment is provided but please note only a limited rods are available to loan and will be handed out on a first come\, first served basis. All ages are welcome at this free event! Visit our FAQ’s below for more information. \nRSVPing is not required but recommended to receive reminders and last minute cancellation information in the event there’s inclement weather.

DESCRIPTION:Learn the basics of catch-and-release line fishing from the Brooklyn Bridge Conservancy’s own expert anglers. During this clinic\, participants of all ages will learn how to tie knots\, bait a hook\, drop a line\, and (with some luck) reel up a fish! Contribute to the Conservancy’s community science efforts as we collect data from our catch to assess the health of the East River. \nNo experience or supplies needed – equipment is provided but please note only a limited rods are available to loan and will be handed out on a first come\, first served basis. All ages are welcome at this free event! Visit our FAQ’s below for more information. \nRSVPing is not required but recommended to receive reminders and last minute cancellation information in the event there’s inclement weather.
