Monthly North Brooklyn Train Alerts, May 2019

Now that the L’Apocalypse is behind us, it seems like North Brooklyn’s commuter will have a less troubled time with the MTA. To make this underground adventure less stressful, Go Green BK listed all scheduled changes for the North Brooklyn Trains in the month of May. Stay tuned and lets hope one day the MTA will provide us with such delight too.

L Train

  • Monday to Friday, May 6 -10, from 11 AM to 3 PM, L Trains will run every 12 minutes between Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues and Rockaway Parkway in Brooklyn. The last stop for some trains from Manhattan will be Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues.
  • Late Friday to Early Monday, May 3 – 6, from 10 PM Friday to 5 AM Monday (weekends through Summer 2020), L Trains will run every 20 minutes between Brooklyn and Manhattan. In Brooklyn, L Trains will run every 10 minutes, days and evenings.
  • Weeknights, May 6 – 10, 8 PM, Monday to Friday (through Summer 2020), L Trains will run every 20 minutes between Brooklyn and Manhattan. In Brooklyn, L Trains will run every 10 minutes from 10 PM to 1:30 AM, nightly.

G Train

  • Weekend, May 3 – 6, from 9:45 PM Friday to 5 AM Monday, Court Sq-bound trains will skip Bedford-Nostrand Avenues Station.
  • All times, beginning at 5 AM April 8 until May 6, Court Square-bound G Trains will skip Flushing Avenue Station.

J Train

  • Monday to Friday, May 6 -10, from 11 AM to 3 PM, L Trains will run every 12 minutes between Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues and Rockaway Parkway in Brooklyn. The last stop for some trains from Manhattan will be Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues.
  • Late Friday to Early Monday, May 3 – 6, from 10 PM Friday to 5 AM Monday (weekends through Summer 2020), L Trains will run every 20 minutes between Brooklyn and Manhattan. In Brooklyn, L Trains will run every 10 minutes, days and evenings.
  • Weeknights, May 6 – 10, 8 PM, Monday to Friday (through Summer 2020), L Trains will run every 20 minutes between Brooklyn and Manhattan. In Brooklyn, L Trains will run every 10 minutes from 10 PM to 1:30 AM, nightly.

M Train

  • Monday through Thursday, May 6 – 9, beginning 10 PM, M Train service will end early between 71 Avenue in Queens and 47-50 Street in Manhattan.
  • Monday through Friday, May 6 – 10, 10 PM to 1:30 AM (through Summer 2020),  M Train service will run between Metropolitan Avenue in Queens and 47-50 Street in Manhattan, and via F Trains to/from Lexington Avenue/63 Street in Manhattan, and via Q to/from 96 Street in Manhattan.
  • Weekend, May 3 – 4, 10 PM Friday to 1:30 AM Saturday and May 4 – 6, 6 AM to 1:30 AM Saturday to Monday, M Trains will run between Metropolitan Avenue in Queens and 47-50 Street in Manhattan, and and via F Trains to/from Lexington Avenue/63 Street in Manhattan, and via Q to/from 96 Street in Manhattan.
