N 14 St. and Quay St.\, Brooklyn\, 11211 \n\n\nThis It’s My Park season\, Join Friends of Bushwick Inlet Park to help wake up the gardens in Bushwick Inlet Park. Come lend a hand weeding\, mulching and planting the garden beds in BIP’s 50 Kent Ave section (map: 41 N 11th St). We have tools and gloves (but bring yours if you have them!). Wear clothes that can get dirty and a bring a water bottle. It’s lots of fun – meet other garden aficionados\, identify plants\, and discuss best weeding practices. \nVolunteers should meet at Bushwick Inlet Park at 50 Kent Ave which is between N11th Street and N12th Streets on Kent Ave. \nFor more information\, please email bushwickinletpark@gmail.com.

DESCRIPTION:Have lots of terrific stuff taking up space but no longer giving you joy? Bring them to the Greencycle Swap.  Join Town Square to recycle\, reuse and reduce! Drop off your cleaned and useable CLOTHES\, SHOES\, BOOKS\, TOYS\, BEDDING\, BAGS – and browse the selection.\n\n\nSIMPLE RULES:\n• ONLY cleaned\, gently used\, working and useable items please.\n• NO need to bring things to take things.\n• NO cribs\, mattresses\, TVs\, and over-sized items.\n• Out of consideration for others\, we may limit folks to 1 bag or the number of bags that you’ve brought to donate to the swap.\n• We do not allow taking donated items to resell. Why? Because all remaining items are donated to other non-profits to help neighbors truly in need.\n\nSuggested donation: $10 a family to help cover costs and support local Scouts Pack 7\, Troop 26\, and the very 1st Brooklyn female troop\, Troop 1G. Town Square is a qualified 501(c)(3) not‐for‐profit institution. Your donation will be TAX DEDUCTIBLE to the full extent of the law.
