Johnson State Park! \n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\n\n✨Step OUTside Fest is a one day event with activities centered around LGBTQ+ pride\, giving back\, art & spending time outdoors. \nFor clothing swap: \nWe’ll take donations from 10AM to 5PM on: \n\nThursdays: 8/17\, 8/24\, & 8/31art\, l\n\n\nSaturdays: 8/12 & 8/26\n\n\nDay of 9/1: Donations accepted until 5PM\n\n  \nWhat can I donate? \n✅ YES \n\nClean clothes\n\n\nADULT AND TEEN SIZES: Shirts\, pants\, skirts\, shorts\, shoes\n\n\nCostumes\n\n❌ NO \n\nStained clothes\n\n\nHoles\n\n\nUndergarments\n\n\nBaby clothes\n\n  \nFor DIY Tote Bag station and Tie Dye station: \n\nBring an old t-shirt or grab one from the swap! DESCRIPTION:Have lots of CLOTHES\, SHOES & BOOKS taking up space? Bring everything over to the Greencycle Back-to-School Swap on Saturday\, September 16th\, 2023. (NO RAIN DATE). Location: 424 Leonard Street (Bayard entrance\, between Manhattan Ave & Leonard Street). \n  \nJoin Town Square’s efforts to recycle\, reuse and reduce! Drop off your cleaned and useable CLOTHES\, SHOES\, BOOKS\, ELECTRONICS (no TVs)\, HOUSEHOLD ITEMS\, and SMALL FURNITURE (no cribs or mattresses) – and browse the selection. \n  \nSIMPLE RULES:\n• Only cleaned\, gently used and useable items please. No need to bring anything to take items.\n• Out of consideration for others\, we may limit folks to the 1 bag or the number of bags that you’ve brought to donate to the swap.\n• We do not allow taking donated items to resell. Why? Because all remaining items are donated to local homeless shelters for neighbors truly in need. \nSince 2008\, Town Square has been promoting environmental consciousness at the local level through our Greencycle Swaps. We firmly believe that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure! We’re delighted to partner with Clay Family Residence / Home Life Services to keep +1\,500 pounds of perfectly good items out of our landfills for every Greencycle Swap.  We love helping our neighbors while benefiting our environment! \n  \nSuggested donation: $10 a family to help cover costs and support local Scouts Pack 7\, Troop 26 and the very 1st Brooklyn female troop\, Troop 1G.
