DESCRIPTION:Central Park\, the Bandshell + Surrounding Area\nenter at 72nd Street \nGet Directions \nFREE EVENT\nRain or shine \nGet ready to paddle\, climb\, bike\, and race at Adventures NYC! \nOn Saturday\, June 17\, join NYC Parks in Central Park to celebrate the great outdoors and enjoy a day of adventure—for free! \nThis year’s activities include: \n\nRock climbing\nAdventure course\nStand-up paddleboarding\nArchery\nRoller skating\nFood court\n\nand more! \nParticipation in stand-up paddleboarding may involve getting wet. A towel and a change of clothes is recommended. \nActivity lines are subject to close early\, so come on time! \nTickets\nMost activities do not require tickets; however\, to avoid long wait times for stand-up paddleboarding\, a limited number of passes with assigned time slots will be given out at 11:00 a.m. Passes are free and are available on a first-come\, first-served basis. \nWaivers\nParticipants in some activations\, including rock climbing\, stand-up paddleboarding\, and archery\, must sign a waiver and provide photo identification before participating in these activities. The waivers will be provided at the event for participants to sign. Participants under the age of 18 must have a legal guardian present with photo identification to sign the waiver. \nHeight\, Weight\, Age\, and Shoe Requirements\nTo participate in rock climbing and stand-up paddleboarding\, you must meet the following requirements: \nStand-Up Paddle Boarding\nYou must be at least 8 years old to participate in stand-up paddleboarding. \nRock Climbing\nFor rock climbing\, you must be at least 36 inches tall and must be over 40 pounds and under 250 pounds. \n\n\n \n\n\nHighlights from previous years\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAccessibility\nFor accessibility information\, please contact accessibility@parks.nyc.gov or (212) 360-3338 by June 15.
