SUMMARY:6th Annual Bocce Tournament for Swinging Sixties Senior Bus
DESCRIPTION:Sponsor a Team for $600 or Donate any amount!\nCome out and watch the tournament!\n\nIn 2017 on seeing that mobility challenged seniors needed transportation from their homes to the Swinging Sixties Senior Center a generous anonymous donor funded the purchase of a vehicle to provide this service. In January 2018 the bus started its route to pick up seniors at local senior housing and shuttle them to 211 Ainslie St. (Swinging Sixties Older Adult Center) in addition to special outings like to the Metropolitan Pool.\n\nA community Bocce Tournament was started as a fundraiser to help cover the operating costs of the Swinging Sixties Senior Bus! Even if you aren’t on a team\, you can still support the bus with your donations! Please give what you can!\n\nThis year’s tournament will take place on Saturday\, June 10\, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Domino Park’s Bocce Courts (between S 5th & S 4th Streets at the East River).\n\nLast year’s teams were (and we anticipate their participation this year):\n\nCrest Hardware\nMeat Hook\nVariety\nBite Size Dentistry\nPete’s Candy Store\nBasik\nAn Honest Living – Alameda\nSt. Nicks Alliance\nDonate here\nhttps://www.bocceforbus.org
