SUMMARY:What Lives in the East River? (Brooklyn Bridge Park)
DESCRIPTION:Discover the amazing biodiversity of the East River as you get hands-on and up close with our marine life touch tank. Participants 14 years of age or older can learn how to use a seine net to humanely catch and release organisms in the river. Protective waders and all equipment will be provided. This is a free program. Registration required. \nAccessibility Note: Please reach out to education@bbp.nyc for any accessibility needs or questions. This program takes place on Pier 4 beach where the terrain is sandy and rocky. There is no shaded areas available\, expect full sun. There is no seating provided\, but there are rocky steps nearby.
