Johnson State Park: 90 Kent Ave\, Brooklyn\, NY \nPLEASE NOTE: \n\nRegistration is highly recommended for all participants to secure your space in the program.\nPlease reserve one ticket for each person who will complete a craft.\nIf we do not hear from you 10 minutes into the program\, we will release your reservation to walk-up participants.\nIf the program is sold out\, but you still wish to attend\, we encourage you to walk up and see if space is available.\nIn the case of inclement weather\, the program may be rescheduled or canceled. SUMMARY:Ecology Park Restoration and Tour
DESCRIPTION:Volunteer with the Stewardship Team to learn more about and protect the wetland and forested areas in Ecology Park! Volunteers will contribute to ongoing restoration work and learn the importance of species diversity to ecosystem health. The event will include a tour of the park. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes\, long sleeves\, long pants\, and clothing that can get dirty. Face masks may be worn at your discretion. Space is limited and registration is required. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone. This event has been funded in part by NYC Service.
