DESCRIPTION:Have lots of CLOTHES\, SHOES\, BEDDING\, BOOKS and TOYS taking up space? Bring everything over to the Greencycle Back-to-School Swap on Saturday\, September 27th\, 2025.  Location: MS 126 cafeteria\, 424 Leonard Street (Bayard entrance\, between Manhattan Ave & Leonard Street). \n  \nRSVP here: bit.ly/greencycle-swap.  Join Town Square’s efforts to recycle\, reuse and reduce! Drop off your cleaned and useable CLOTHES\, SHOES\, BEDDING\, BOOKS\, TOYS\, AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS – and browse the selection. \n  \nSIMPLE RULES:\n• Only cleaned\, gently used and useable items please. No need to bring anything to take items. \n• Out of consideration for others\, we may limit folks to the 1 bag or the number of bags that you’ve brought to donate to the swap. \n• We do not accept any items other than clothes\, shoes\, bedding\, books\, and toys. \n• We do not allow taking donated items to resell. Why? Because all remaining items are donated to local homeless shelters for neighbors truly in need. \nSince 2008\, Town Square has been promoting environmental consciousness at the local level through our Greencycle Swaps. We firmly believe that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure! We’re delighted to partner with Clay Family Residence / Home Life Services to keep +1\,500 pounds of perfectly good items out of our landfills for every Greencycle Swap.  We love helping our neighbors while benefiting our environment! \n  \nSuggested donation: $10 a family to help cover costs and support local Scouts Pack 7\, Troop 26 and the very 1st Brooklyn female troop\, Troop 1G. Town Square is a qualified 501(c)(3) not‐for‐profit institution. Your donation will be TAX DEDUCTIBLE to the full extent of the law.
