DESCRIPTION:Coastal Cleanup volunteers help remove debris washed up into the Park. They also record what’s collected\, contributing to efforts worldwide to better understand and tackle plastic pollution. \nNote: Coastal Cleanups involve uneven surfaces\, rock scrambling\, bending\, and light lifting. \nAdvance registration is required and spaces are limited.  \nTo register: \n\nNew volunteers\, please create a Volunteer Profile to sign up for opportunities  \n\n\nRegistered volunteers\, please log-in to your volunteer profile to schedule yourself \n\nIf you’re signing up as a family\, please email volunteer@bbp.nyc  \nFull details\, including location of the activity\, will be emailed to registered volunteers a few days prior to the event.  \nNote: If you’re not seeing any dates available when trying to sign up for a Coastal Cleanup opportunity\, it’s because either all the spots have been filled\, or the event has not yet opened for sign-ups.
