DESCRIPTION:Volunteer with the Stewardship Team to protect coastal areas in Kaiser Park! Volunteers will help us remove the debris from the coastline creating a healthier ecosystem. Face masks may be worn at your discretion. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes\, long sleeves\, long pants\, and clothing that can get dirty. Space is limited and registration is required. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone. SUMMARY:Coastal Cleanup (Brooklyn Bridge Park)
DESCRIPTION:Volunteers\, as a group\, cleanup our coastlines by helping to remove debris that has washed into the marshes and beaches with the tides. \nVolunteers of all ages are welcome (under 16’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian). No volunteer orientation or experience is required\, but note that this activity may involve some rock scrambling. \nAdvance registration is required and spaces are limited. \nTo register: \n\nNew volunteers\, please complete this form\nRegistered volunteers\, please log-in to your volunteer profile to schedule yourself\n\nFull details\, including location of the activity\, will be emailed to registered volunteers a few days prior to the event. \nNote: If you’re not seeing any dates available when trying to sign up it’s because all the spots on this event have been filled.
