DESCRIPTION:Green Team takes place twice a month\, April-October.   \nGreen Team volunteers support essential horticultural care in Brooklyn Bridge Park\, completing tasks such as weeding\, planting and mulching. This is a great opportunity to learn about gardening\, enjoy nature\, and make a tangible difference in the Park with a group of other volunteers. \nVolunteers of all ages are welcome (under 16’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian) and no volunteer orientation is required. No gardening experience is necessary; we provide all the instructions and tools needed for a rewarding experience! \nAdvance registration is required. Registration opens 2 weeks prior to the start of each month. \nTo register: \n\nNew volunteers\, please complete this form\nRegistered volunteers\, please log-in to your volunteer profile to schedule yourself\n\nFull details\, including location of the activity\, will be emailed to registered volunteers a few days prior to the event. \nNote: If you’re not seeing any dates available when trying to sign up for a Green Team opportunity\, it’s because all the spots have been filled or have not yet opened for sign-ups.
