Open hours are free and open to the public and will take place every Friday from April 18 to June 27\, 2025\, weather-permitting. \nFor the 2025 Open Hours season\, we are excited to also be opening our Newtown Native Nursery\, allowing visitors to explore (and purchase) native plants that we grow on site\, and can be a great addition for any greenspace you may have or be involved in! \nThis is a family friendly event\, kindly keep in mind that we use our green roofs as an educational resource\, we prefer that furry friends stay at home. NCA staff will be on hand to answer questions about the space\, the ecological benefits of green roofs\, and talk about our current activities around Newtown Creek! We will have drinks and light refreshments on hand for guests to enjoy. \nMusic on select Fridays \nMay 13th – Cal Fish \nJune 16th – Liver \nJune 27th – Maidenhead +DJ Chase Coppins \nPlease note that not all roofs are ADA compliant\, our paths have a 34” width and can have some uneven surfaces including bluestone\, small gravel\, and soil. For more information about access at Kingsland Wildflowers visit our website. \nRegistrants will be notified of any cancellations on the day of the event.
