SUMMARY:New York Transit Museum Bus Festival
DESCRIPTION:The New York Transit Museum’s beloved festival of vintage buses and surface vehicles returns September 8\, 2024! Explore buses from our vintage fleet\, representing more than 90 years of New York City surface transit history. Enjoy photo ops\, meet some of the bus drivers who help keep our city moving\, check out our pop-up shop\, and take in the view of the Manhattan skyline from the Emily Roebling Plaza underneath the Brooklyn Bridge. \n  \nBus Festival is free! Advanced registration (RSVP here) is encouraged but not required.\nRegistration enters you into a raffle for a chance to win a Family membership to the Museum (a $100 value)! \n  \nPlease Note: \n\nBus Festival runs rain or shine.\nBuses will open for boarding at 10am ET and close at 3:30pm.\nChildren ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.\nPhotography and video recording are permitted. However\, tripods\, stands\, selfie sticks\, and external lights may not be used. All photographs taken are for personal use only and permission to photograph may be revoked at any time.\nThe winner of the raffle will be contacted via email.\nAccessibility:  Brooklyn Bridge Park is ADA accessible.
