DESCRIPTION:Join Prospect Park Alliance for family-friendly nature programming on Memorial Day at the Prospect Park Audubon Center and the Carousel. \nNature Exploration\nProspect Park Audubon Center\, Free \nJoin the Prospect Park Alliance for nature education programs at the Prospect Park Audubon Center\, the first urban Audubon Center in the nation. \n\nDiscovery Pack\, 12 – 3 pm: Come explore nature on your own with our Discovery Packs\, a backpack filled with nature activities and exploration tools\, perfect for families and kids to interact with the park in a whole new way!\nAnimal Encounter\, 2 – 3 pm: Join Alliance Naturalists in learning more about the animals in the Audubon Center’s collection. This program starts promptly at 2 pm.\nFamily Bird Walk\, 3 – 4 pm: Prospect Park is a stopping point for hundreds of bird species each year! Join us as we search for these amazing creatures and other nature around the park. Binoculars and bird guides are provided. This program leaves promptly at 3 pm.\n\nCarousel Rides\, 12 – 5 pm \nChildren’s Corner\, $3 per ride\, $13 for a book of 5 tickets\, Free with Prospect Park Alliance Family Supporter membership or higher. \nCelebrate Eid al-Fitr with a ride on Prospect Park’s beloved 1912 Carousel. \nJoin the Alliance at the Family Supporter level or above and enjoy unlimited free rides!
