All ages and skill levels are welcome. \nThis plein air (French for open air) style art session will be led by local artist Sebastian Deregibus. \nBYO supplies and inspiration! 🖌️ \nAdditional information: \nSchedule (3hrs approx)\n9:30am\, group meet\, pep talk\n10:00am\, disperse to paint or draw\, individual coaching\n12Pm\, regroup\, share artwork & experience\, disband \nsuggested Materials\nPrepared art panels\, small scale (4” x 6” & 5” x 7” approx)\, sketchbooks\, or mixed media pads\nAny medium; dry or water based recommended\, watercolor/acrylics/color pencils/pastels/gouache/casein \nNotes\nbring water\, to drink & to clean brushes as you work\nbring a hat if it’s sunny\nplan to stand (if you have a portable easel) or sit (on a portable stool or park bench)\nthe light will change\, the wind will blow and the insects will buzz\, these are the hallmarks of Plein Air\, embrace and enjoy 🙂

DESCRIPTION:Mar 29 @ 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm \n\n\nJoin us as we explore beneficial and invasive bugs from our gardens\, then paint them with watercolors. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nLocation\nBushwick Inlet Park\n86 Kent Avenue Community Building (Inside)\nBrooklyn\, NY 11249 \n\n\n\n\n\n\nInsects are everywhere—1.4 million for every person on Earth—yet many remain misunderstood. Are wasps pests or essential helpers? How do bees sustain our food supply? And are ladybugs truly nature’s best pesticide?
