You won’t want to miss this kick-off event full of inspiring performances and innovative ways to address climate change from artists around the world. Stay for champagne from Moët and Chandon as you engage with amazing climate action and art. DESCRIPTION:Join Friends of Bushwick Inlet Park for an afternoon of painting & cut paper collaging with local gardener\, artist and card designer Llubav. \nLlubav will share her tips and techniques to demonstrate how she creates her beautiful and whimsical designs. We will have a mixture of colorful and textured raw materials\, which we will then paint\, draw\, cut and make shapes which will be glued to a larger sheet of paper or cardstock to create a unique and playful collage. \nRequired registration via the link below. \nFree! \nWe will have supplies on hand to create a floral mother’s day card or a design of your choosing – in time to celebrate Spring or Mother’s Day! \nSuggested Supplies: \nPaper or Tissue Paper you might want to use\nScissors (comfortable size to cut small shapes)\nBig and medium sized brushes\nElmers liquid glue\, paste or glue stick\nColored Paints (Acrylic\, Guache\, Tempera\, Watercolor)\nNo experience necessary.
