DESCRIPTION:Puppets at the Playground presents a new show in honor of Black Birders Week\, “Karen Cardinal’s New Neighbors!” \n*** \nDiversity is important\, even in nature! Puppets at the Park House presents “Karen Cardinal’s New Neighbors!” When some migratory birds settle into Karen Cardinal’s neighborhood\, she learns that our differences are what make us special. \nIn collaboration with the organizations Black AF In STEM and NYC Audubon\, join the NYS Parks’ New York City team in celebrating Black Birders Week 2024! Let’s support budding Black birders\, expert Black birders\, and all birders and wanna be birders in between! \nAll programs are free and materials are provided. \nWho: A ll ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult. \nWhen: Thursday\, May 30th beginning at 3 PM\, 4 PM\, and 5 PM. \nShowings will last approximately 20 minutes. \nWhere: The Blue Park House at Marsha P. Johnson State Park \n90 Kent Ave\, Brooklyn\, New York \nCross streets – N 8th and Kent Ave \nPLEASE NOTE: \n\nRegistration is recommended but not required to secure your space in the program.
