SUMMARY:Bread+Puppet: The Upside Down World Circus
DESCRIPTION:The Bread & Puppet Circus returns to Brooklyn\, NY! Join us for The Upside Down Circus! \n“Is it or is it not?\nAm I asleep or am I awake?\nAm I a cockroach or am I a me? \nPossibilitarians! We must demonstrate humanity’s upside-down situation in the face of the government’s depraved falsehoods. Luxury silence and despair must be replaced by revolt orchestras that radically oppose the radically wrong system. \nIt is time to unforget the revolution-in-progress and aim for the evermore on the universe’s shore.” \nThe one and only Bread & Puppet Circus is back to confront our upside-down situation! With stilt dancers\, paper maché beasts of all sizes\, and a riotous brass band\, The Upside Down World Circus is an urgent spectacle of protest and celebration. \n. \n2 shows: \n\nFri\, Sep 18\, 4:00 PM – 5:15 PM\nFri\, Sep 18\, 8:00 PM – 9:15 PM\n\n. \nAfter each show Bread & Puppet will serve its famous sourdough rye bread with aioli\, and “Cheap Art” – books\, posters\, postcards\, pamphlets and banners from the Bread & Puppet Press – will be for sale. \nLearn more at breadandpuppet.org/tour

SUMMARY:Unheard at Domino Park
DESCRIPTION:Pique-nique’s Unheard series celebrates musical discovery—those spontaneous moments when artists listen deeply to each other and let curiosity guide the sound. Join us for an evening of unrehearsed musical conversation\, where freedom takes form and sound takes shape. \n. \nDates \nThu\, Jul 23\, 6:00 to 9:00 PM ~ Spencer Zahn will lead a quartet of multi-instrumentalists to create two fully improvised sets under the open sky. Spencer Zahn is a bassist\, multi-instrumentalist\, and composer\, long based in New York and now splitting his time with Los Angeles.
