SUMMARY:Creative Storytelling and Movement Workshop (Prospect Park)
DESCRIPTION:Join a series of joyful\, hands-on storytelling workshops where children become the makers\, dreamers\, and tellers of their own stories! \n\n\nJoin Prospect Park Alliance and Spilling Ink or a series of joyful\, hands-on storytelling workshops where children become the makers\, dreamers\, and tellers of their own stories! Through mask-making\, story circles\, and imaginative play\, children will explore feelings\, create characters\, and bring their stories to life in a safe\, nurturing space. \nEach session weaves together creativity\, nature\, and emotional learning — encouraging kids to discover the magic in their voices and the power in their imagination. \nWhat Kids Will Do: \n\nCraft their own masks using natural and sustainable materials\nInvent stories through guided play\, drawing\, and role-play\nCollaborate in story circles where everyone’s voice matters\nShare and celebrate their creations in a mini “show & tell” moment\n\nEvery workshop invites curiosity\, self-expression\, and community. \nFor Parents & Caregivers \nThese sessions are designed to be safe\, inclusive\, and child-led\, offering a calm and welcoming environment where every child feels seen and valued. You’re invited to stay nearby\, observe\, and even take part in gentle reflection circles at the end. Bring your child\, your curiosity\, and maybe a small object from nature that feels special – a leaf\, a stone\, a stick — to become part of their story.

SUMMARY:NBPA's Garden Club
DESCRIPTION: #HEYNBK Want to get your hands in the dirt? \nJoin the Garden Club this season!  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nNorth Brooklyn Parks Alliance is excited to offer three volunteer opportunities each month in these distinct parks: \n– Bushwick Inlet Park (50 Kent Ave between 11th and 12th St): a waterfront park defined by its Manhattan views and abundance of flowering pollinator plants. \n– Under the K Bridge Park (Meeker Ave and Van Dam Street): a unique 7-acre park under the BQE\, where you’ll tend to the native plant nursery\, our ecological lab for cultivating biodiversity amongst heavy industry. \n– McGolrick Park (Nassau Ave between Russell and Monitor Streets): an Olmsted-era neighborhood park with a stunning mature tree canopy. \nYou’ll work with our horticultural experts to learn about the ecological needs of each space: weeding invasive plant species\, propagating and transplanting native plants\, amending soil\, and caring for trees. \nEvents are free\, but please consider making a small donation or join our sustaining membership drive and help us build a green fund for North Brooklyn! \n  \n\n\nNOVEMBER 2025 \n\n\n\n11/09/2025\, 10 AM ~ Bushwick Inlet Park (50 Kent) \n\n\n\n11/16/2025\, 10 AM ~ Under the K Bridge Park \n11/23/2025\, 10 AM ~ McGolrick Park \n\nOCTOBER 2025  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n10/12/2025\, 10 AM ~ Bushwick Inlet Park (50 Kent) \n10/19/2025\, 10 AM ~ Under the K Bridge Park \n10/26/2025\, 10 AM ~ McGolrick Park \n\nSEPTEMBER 2025  \n9/14/2025\, 10 AM ~ Bushwick Inlet Park (50 Kent) \n9/21/2025\, 10 AM ~ Under the K Bridge Park \n9/28/2025\, 10 AM ~ McGolrick Park \n\n\nAUGUST 2025 \n8/10/2025\, 10 AM ~ Bushwick Inlet Park (50 Kent) \n8/17/2025\, 10 AM ~ Under the K Bridge Park \n8/24/2025\, 10 AM ~ McGolrick Park \n\nJULY 2025  \n7/13/2025\, 10 AM ~ Bushwick Inlet Park (50 Kent) \n7/20/2025\, 10 AM ~ Under the K Bridge Park \n7/27/2025\, 10 AM ~ McGolrick Park \n\nJUNE 2025  \n6/08/25\, 10 AM ~ Bushwick Inlet Park (50 Kent) \n6/15/25\, 10 AM ~ Under the K Bridge Park \n6/22/25\, 10 AM ~ McGolrick Park \n\nMAY 2025  \n5/11/25\, 10 AM ~ Bushwick Inlet Park (50 Kent) \n5/18/25\, 10 AM ~ Under the K Bridge Park \n5/25/25\, 10 AM ~ McGolrick Park \n\nAPRIL 2025  \n4/20/25\, 10 AM ~ Under the K Bridge Park – Seed Ball Workshop \n4/27/25\, 10 AM ~ McGolrick Park

SUMMARY:Bonsai Workshop at Farm. One Brew Lab
DESCRIPTION:Beginner workshops are perfect for you to grab your friends\, grab a drink and come make tiny trees! We’re bringing the awesome art of bonsai out of the hedged in gardens and into the streets! Or at least into your favorite bars/breweries/pubs. Bonsai Bar is a night of fun you don’t want to miss. Learn the fundamental skills and techniques behind the art of bonsai while enjoying a night out with friends! Our teachers will introduce core concepts and guide your experience as you pot\, prune\, and design your very own bonsai tree! Our Guarantee: These tiny trees are so hardy we guarantee you can keep yours alive\, or we’ll replace it. \nThis workshop will be hosted at Farm. One Brew Lab. We’re the neighborhood farm. And we’ve just expanded our roots to include a brewery and taproom! Our main location at 625 Bergen Street in Brooklyn\, New York\, is now a chic hub of urban farming innovation\, brewing craftsmanship\, and amazing culinary experiences. \nAt our core\, we cultivate unique microgreens\, specialty herbs\, edible flowers and premium salad greens for chefs\, restaurants and consumers. These ingredients will also influence our brewery program. \nOur vertical farm operates indoors year-round\, nestled right in the heart of the city\, ensuring that we provide the freshest and most flavorful produce. Visit our Brew Lab to purchase greens\, embark on a farm tour\, savor craft beer\, wine and other cocktails\, and immerse yourself in live events. \nWe recently received our brewery permit. While we ramp up brewing our own unique farm beer\, we now offer classic & specialty cocktails\, craft beer\, and wine alongside our non-alcoholic drink program. \nUnder 21 policy: Please contact Farm. One Brew Lab for details regarding underage entry \nFor more about Bonsai Bar and what to expect at our classes\, visit our website at: https://bonsaibar.com/products/farm-one-brew-lab
