SUMMARY:Zumba with Dodge YMCA (BK Bridge Park)
DESCRIPTION:Dodge YMCA fitness Zumba classes are so much fun you’ll forget that you’re burning calories. ZUMBA is a fusion of Latin and International music\, utilizing dance themes that create a dynamic\, exciting\, effective fitness program. This class features aerobic training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Sneakers are recommended! Classes run on Mondays at 6:00 PM\, May 1 through September 25 at the Pier 3 Plaza. \n\n\n\nAdvanced registration is required. We are now opening registration by-the-month (opens at the start of the month for all classes that month) here. \nImportant: In addition to registration\, all fitness participants are required to fill out our fitness waiver here. Once completed\, your waiver is good for all Conservancy fitness classes of the 2023 season – you only need to fill it out once! Those under 18 years of age must have a parent/guardian complete the form on their behalf. \nConfirmation emails include a link to this waiver. It must be completed before you can participate in any of our fitness programming; individuals who have not completed a waiver will not be permitted to join. Individuals may only register for one spot per class; those who book multiple spots for one class will have their excess reservations removed. \nFor event updates and announcements\, subscribe to our email and socials (Twitter\, Facebook\, Instagram). DESCRIPTION:Nature Exploration\, 12–4 pm\nProspect Park Audubon Center\, Free \nJoin Prospect Park Alliance for nature education programs at the Prospect Park Audubon Center\, the first urban Audubon Center in the nation. \n\nNature Around Us\, 12–3 pm:  Discover how nature recycles by learning about the fascinating cycle of decomposition in our urban forest.\nAnimal Encounter\, 2–3 pm: Join Alliance Naturalists to learn more about the animals in the Audubon Center’s collection. This program starts promptly at 2 pm.\nFamily Bird Walk\, 3–4 pm: Prospect Park is a stopping point for hundreds of bird species each year! Join us as we search for these amazing creatures and other natural wonders around the park. Binoculars and bird guides are provided. This program leaves the Audubon Center promptly at 3 pm.\n\nCarousel Rides\, 12–5 pm \nChildren’s Corner\, $3 per ride\, $13 for a book of 5 tickets\, Free with Prospect Park Alliance Family Supporter membership or higher.  \nCelebrate Juneteenth with a ride on Prospect Park’s beloved 1912 Carousel. \nJoin the Alliance at the Family Supporter level or above and enjoy unlimited free rides!
