DESCRIPTION:Learn how to make your own hand-bound books with educators\, as part of our Art Under the Bridge series. We will make collage covers using preserved leaves and then learn to bind our books with a coptic stitch that allows them to lay flat\, perfect for sketching or journaling. \nNo previous experience necessary. This workshop is best suited for ages 13 and up. The workshop requires some manual dexterity to thread and pull a sewing needle through cardboard. We will be using sharp tools\, and all participants will need to sign a legal waiver. The event is first-come\, first-serve with 25 spots available.
