There may be steps\, slight inclines\, and grass and dirt paths with exposed roots. We will cover approximately 1.5-2 miles.

Since 2022\, the garden has provided 1500 pounds of produce for their neighbors. The McCarren Demo Garden also acts as a community hub for eco education and food justice.

DESCRIPTION:Join North Brooklyn Neighbors for a free\, in-person workshop to learn about indoor air quality and what you can do to improve the air in your own home. On average\, Americans spend about 90% of their time indoors\, and the concentrations of some air pollutants are much higher indoors than outdoors. Participants will learn about what causes air pollution generally\, some tips for how to improve indoor air quality\, the health implications of poor indoor air quality\, and will have the opportunity to learn about how to use the sensors available at the Greenpoint Library to monitor the air in their own homes.
