DESCRIPTION:Join the Kingsland Wildflowers partners for a summer evening of hands-on activities\, art\, entertainment\, and fun! \n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\n\nThe native rooftop meadow and wildlife habitat located on the banks of Newtown Creek\, a federal Superfund site\, was created through a close collaboration of private and nonprofit entities interested in rewriting the narrative on the possibilities of ecological and industrial cohabitation. We would love your help! \nRegister as a volunteer through Eventbrite and we will send an email with more information about the different volunteer shifts we’ll have available throughout the day.
