Other cities around the world that have similar programs have also experienced improved air quality. \nFollowing the public comment period\, MTA Bridges and Tunnels (known legally as the Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority) will review the public comments. Then its Board\, which is coterminous with the MTA Board\, will consider adopting a ratemaking regulation that includes any updates that may follow the public comment period. \nAs with any proposed toll ratemaking\, this  public comment period is being conducted in accordance with the State Administrative Procedure Act. \nAccessibility and Interpreter Services \nAt the public hearings\, American Sign Language and CART Captioning Services will be available. \nMembers of the public who are deaf or hard of hearing can use their preferred relay service or the free 711 relay service\, and then ask to be connected to the Public Hearing Hotline at (646) 252-6777 to speak with an agent. \nMembers of the public who do not have access to a computer or who do not have access to the Internet can listen to each of the hearings by calling the Zoom meeting via a telephone number which will be provided at a later date. \nIf language assistance or any other accommodations are required\, please submit a request at least five (5) business days before the scheduled hearing date in one of the following ways: e-mailing cbdtp.feedback@mtabt.org\, calling the Public Hearing Hotline at (646) 252-6777\, or by sending a letter to MTA Government & Community Relations\, Attn: Central Business District Tolling Program Hearings\, 2 Broadway\, 17th Floor\, New York\, NY 10004.

SUMMARY:EcoDisaster in the Hundred Acre Wood (Central Library)
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a play reading of EcoDisaster in the Hundred Acre Wood\, a musical melodrama adapted from the classic Winnie the Pooh stories and set in the context of our current climate change reality. With book and lyrics by Sarah Safford and music by Sean Ivy\, this will be a 50-minute version of a full-length work in progress\, with professional actors performing the roles of the familiar A.A. Milne characters Pooh\, Piglet\, Owl\, Eeyore\, Rabbit\, Kanga\, and Roo. Christopher Robin’s son and grandchildren are also in the story. \nSynopsis: Facing extreme weather and a pipeline under construction\, Winnie the Pooh and his aging friends realize they must do something to protect their threatened habitat. Aimed at an intergenerational audience\, we welcome you to come listen and share your feedback on this work in progress. \nWriter Sarah Safford and composer Sean Ivy have been collaborating on this work in progress for almost two years and hope to develop it into a full length musical. They’ve had several readings and presented a showcase version last October with the Brooklyn Musical Theater Workshop Showcase. The cast of professional actor friends includes Joe MacMurray (Pooh)\, Adam Basco-Mahieddine (Piglet)\, Alex (Ace) McCarthy (Eeyore)\, Lisa Whitten (Owl)\, Bailey Macejak (Rabbit)\, Elizabeth Brik (Kanga)\, Hannah Weaver (Roo)\, and Gabriella DiPiazza (Stage directions and understudy).
