Women’s Day Herbal Tea at Poppa and Momma Jones Historical Garden

Join the garden group at Poppa and Momma Jones Historical Garden to learn about the benefits of various herbs that can be grown at home or outdoors. Veteran Herbal gardener Johanna Willens will be our featured speaker. A team from the Artsy Athenaeum will facilitate art activities. To culminate the event, participants will get samples of herbs from the garden including dandelion, sage, and mint. Participants will make a still-life painting of an arrangement of herbs and/or a bundle of fresh herbs and flowers with ribbon and twine. Children will paint from their perspectives.
