From beginner to all levels, this “On 2” New York Style Salsa class with Talia and a special guest will keep you moving! Learn the basic shines (solo steps) and some fancy turning patterns, which will get you prepped for the open session. Feel free to come with or without a partner.
On Saturday, August 27, Cebo Carr (NXGN) teaches you how to House dance.
House dance is often improvised with an emphasis on footwork and grooves through the body that play off of rhythms within Jazz, Soul, and Deep House music. It’s a dance for every body, with a great range of movement that can be tailored to the individual.
Each night starts off with a 40-minute, all-levels introductory class, which will transition into a full on dance party! All are welcome, regardless of skill level.
Drinks and small bites provided by Fornino.
This event is part of the Festival of New York!
