Umoja Garden Celebrates Earth Day

To celebrate the Earth’s gifts and honor Umoja’s dedication to our planet, Umoja Garden invites our community to join the garden group for a day of planting, education and fellowship on Sunday, April 21 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. We will be planting local pollinators donated by Native NY Gardens. Farm Manager at East New York Farms Alexx Caceres will facilitate a companion planting workshop rooted in indigenous practices. Attendees will enjoy light refreshments provided by Ry Ry’s Kitchen and Splendid Spoon.
