Studies have shown that there are similarities between the soil rhizosphere (near the roots of plants) and the human intestine. This means there are direct connections between the life in the soil and the life in our own gut flora. The act of taking the scraps of food you leave and feeding it to the earth is foundational to our well being. Food for you is food for the earth. By understanding simple recipes to feed the earth, you can invite microorganisms in the earth to thrive.
