Sustainable Gardening in an Urban Environment — Wolfie Langway’s Eagle Scout Project

The soil contamination in Greenpoint and Williamsburg makes gardening unhealthy. However, by using raised beds and fresh compost this can easily done in a safe and sustainable manner. This Eagle project, in conjunction with the Powers street Garden, will provide practical instruction in creating and using raised bed gardening. Free compost will also be available.
