The Friends of WNYC Transmitter Park Present:
Programming from the Germination Station
Join the Friends of WNYC Transmitter Park for a FREE On-site Gardening Demonstration Program that focuses on Soil Health for successful Gardening. Please come prepared to take notes, and get your hands in the soil, as Rosemarie Miner, founding Principal for Our Temenos, leads us through the gardens pointing out some of our most common soil issues.
Meet at Greenpoint Avenue Entrance to the Park
Rosemarie Miner is a social ecologist, focused on blending the boundaries between human and non-human communities. As an artistic praxis, she works with nature to create living murals, as well as functional ecosystems, designing with spirits of place and for the generations to come.
Drawing on her B.S. in Ecology and her history as a community organizer, Rosemarie works tirelessly to build environmental and social resilience by facilitating ecological intimacy and fostering ecological literacy. boroughs.
The Germination Station is sponsored by the Friends of WNYC Transmitter Park. Inspiration for this forum is inspired by the Park’s namesake and historic legacy of public radio broadcasting. Add to this the creation of a community for the expression of ideas and support for public green space.
