Ruby’s Birds: Story Time and Craft Workshop

Read a story about a young girl named Ruby and the birds she finds in New York City! Then make a bird craft, or make a birdseed creation!

About this event

Celebrate the third annual Black Birder’s Week at Marsha P. Johnson State Park with a reading of Ruby’s Birds by Mya Thompson and a craft workshop to help migratory birds.

 

Who: All ages. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

 

When: Monday, May 30th, 2022 at 2 PM

 

Where: The Park House (blue building with public bathrooms) at Marsha P. Johnson State Park.

 

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Tickets are required for ALL people attending the event (INCLUDING adults and babies). Please reserve one ticket per individual. To allow space for as many people as possible, we ask that you please only register for one session per program.
  • If we do not hear from you 10 minutes into the program, we will release your reservation to the next person on the waitlist.
  • In the case of inclement weather, the program may be rescheduled or canceled. Please be sure to check your email a few hours before the program starts.
