Keigwin + Company’s Rhapsody Workshop (Brooklyn Bridge Park)

Join KEIGWIN + COMPANY‘s Artistic Director Larry Keigwin for a creative movement workshop for all at Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 6 on Sunday, June 11 at 11:00 AM!

Young, old, families, and those brand new to dance will gather to dance in the morning sun (fingers crossed!). No previous dance experience required – just enthusiasm and energy. You’ll be guided through a short, playful choreographic process with Larry and Dancer Jaclyn Walsh using games and guided improvisation to allow you to uncover your creativity and physicality.

Registration encouraged, but walk-ups welcome.

If you enjoy the workshop, join as they further develop Rhapsody, a new community dance work developed in Brooklyn Bridge Park and supported by Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy, inviting 50+ members of the public (like you!) to participate. Open to dancers and non-dancers of all ages in an outdoor celebration of movement, shared space, and connection, accompanied by live music by William Catanzaro and CHAIN.
