Diversity is important, even in nature! Puppets at the Park House presents “Karen Cardinal’s New Neighbors!” When some migratory birds settle into Karen Cardinal’s neighborhood, she learns that our differences are what make us special.
In collaboration with the organizations Black AF In STEM and NYC Audubon, join the NYS Parks’ New York City team in celebrating Black Birders Week 2023! Let’s support budding Black birders, expert Black birders, and all birders and wanna be birders in between!
All programs are free and materials are provided.
At each event, participants may enter a raffle to win special prizes including binoculars, plush Audubon birds, or a New York State Park Empire Pass!
Who: All ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
When: Thursday, June 1st beginning at 3 PM, 4 PM, and 5 PM.
Showings will last approximately 20 minutes.
Where: The Blue Park House at Marsha P. Johnson State Park
